Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
Find Relief. Find Peace. Find Your Fresh Start.
Introduction
When debt becomes overwhelming — garnishments, collectors, repossession threats, or payments you simply cannot afford — Chapter 7 bankruptcy can provide the relief you need. I help good people get out of financial bondage and regain their peace, dignity, and stability.
Whether you're a senior living on Social Security, a working parent stretched too thin, or someone facing wage garnishment, you don’t have to carry this alone.
The Faith-Based Perspective
In Deuteronomy 15:1–2, God commands the release of debt every seven years. I believe this was meant to free His children from bondage — not to shame them. Debt can feel like a prison, but you were not created to live in fear or guilt.
Bankruptcy is a legal tool created for your protection. It is not failure — it is freedom.

What You Can Keep
Most clients keep everything they own because their property is protected by exemptions.
Arizona Exemptions Explained Simply
Arizona law protects your property. Most of my clients lose nothing.
Here are the basics:
Vehicle: Up to $16,000 equity per person
(Married couples may protect two vehicles)Home: Up to $400,000 equity in your primary residence
Personal property: Clothing, furniture, appliances, personal items
Pension & Social Security: 100% protected
If you’re not sure whether your property is protected, I’ll go over everything with you clearly and confidentially.
Special Help for Seniors & Those on Fixed Income
Many seniors believe they cannot file bankruptcy because they are on Social Security.
This is not true.
Social Security income is exempt, and seniors often qualify easily for Chapter 7. I frequently help older clients who:
Can no longer afford high RV or vehicle payments
Are living on fixed income
Are facing medical debt
Are being pressured by collectors
You deserve peace in your later years — not harassment or fear.
RV & Vehicle Surrender Without Future Liability
If you have an RV or vehicle you can no longer afford — or no longer use — Chapter 7 allows you to surrender it and eliminate the remaining debt.
This is one of the areas I enjoy helping my senior debtors because the RV lenders will not reduce their loan or allow them to surrender the vehicle voluntarily withtout having to pay the remaining balance.
After surrendering the RV in the Bankruptcy, you owe nothing further.
No collections.
No balance owed.
No fear.
